Veraz
We called it “Veraz”, spanish for truthful, because we had discovered a true carménère, born in the depths of the dry coastal area of cauquenes among vineyards with great luminosity accompanied by granitic and red soils.
A profound wine, voluptuous, smooth, elegant and highly complex.
The alcoholic fermentation took place with selected yeasts in oak vats at 24ºC. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in french oak barrels, where it matured for a total of 16 months.
It is velvety, oily and well-balanced in the mouth with a superb mid-palate and just the right amount of tannins, which are very smooth and lead to a long finish.
